I have not been very lucky when it comes to finding a decent dentist, let alone a good one…after finding east county faimly dentistry, my search is now over! From the front office staff to the amazing dr. A, every single person in this office goes above and beyond anything i have ever experienced to be sure I am comfortable during procedures. When it is time to go over the cost, Donna is amazing! She is so personable and she made sure I understood everything before I was on my way. I really feel like they all truly care and I am not just another dollar. I am so happy I found this dentist office!

There has NEVER been a good experience for me with any dental visit for me anywhere I have ever been in my 44yrs of life. I haven’t been to the dentist in 6yrs due to having a very painful last cleaning with my last dentist in PB. Then step son went to this office the beginning of 2021 and said that he liked them. So I had to put the fear aside and go for it and let me tell you I’m so happy. Dr. A is wonderful he talks you through what he’s doing he makes sure your numb enough to not feel the work being done. Dr. A talks to you instead of just getting the job done you see he has passion for his work. He called me later that day to see how I was doing which blew me away. How sweet is that. A few weeks later I developed a infection were I needed a root canal and called the office on a day they were closed because I was in so much pain. In an hour of calling I had a pain med in my hand. Donna is amazing she goes above and beyond and not many medical places have people like her. I must say ALL the staff here are absolutely wonderful. They make you feel cared for. This is a dental office I enjoy going to. I highly recommend East County Dentistry!!

I highly recommend this dental office. Dr. A is awesome , he has a passion for his job and you can clearly see it. I have NEVER had a good experience with a dentist and I've always feared going to have anything done in my mouth. I was afraid when I first came to this office but something about the staff made me feel at ez. They are very personable and kind, they introduced themselves to me and welcomed me to their office. I finally didn't leave in fear or where I was in pain during the procedure. Dr. A makes sure you are comfortable and as relaxed as can be. The staff is very attentive and Donna goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you ALL for your care!

I just visited East County Family Dentistry to have a regular cleaning and exam. Everyone there was very courteous, friendly, and efficient. The procedure was pain free and as quick as possible. If you're considering a new dentist, I'd definitely recommend them!!:)

I have been living in San Diego for over 20+ years and it was hard to find a dentist I loved. 1-They are very affordable, compared to other dentists.
2-Carol ROCKS!!!! Your teeth have never been cleaner after she gets ahold of you. She is also gentle and checks with you every step of the way to make sure she doesn't hurt you.
3-Donna's great about working out the $, between insurance and out-a-pocket. She will do everything in her power to help you evaluate what's "needed" and what's "optional".
4-Dr. A has a gentle/pain free approach and is extremely knowledgeable about multiple options to get you to a smile you can be proud of.
5-The entire staff is courteous and friendly. They not only remember your name, but also details about your life and family....you're not just another ticket at East County Family Dentistry.

P.S. In light of our current 2020 reality, ECFD had impressive protocol to protect patients & staff from Covid 19. There's a temp. check, a detailed questionnaire, and separation from other patients as soon as you are considered "healthy". All staff wears more that adequate PPEs, you're given an anti-viral to swish before your procedures, and EVERYTHING is completely sanitized between each patient (I watched them do it).

The entire team is very knowledgeable and well experienced, as they should be. Thanks for allowing me to go through the painful process of not listening to your recommendations. Some of us do have to learn the hard way. I never knew how much pain one tooth could cause. Late nights and weekends were completely miserable. I put myself in a situation that forced me to take more medication in one week than I have taken my entire life. You all showed support during and after hours which means a lot. Not only do I feel better; I feel confident knowing that you all actually had my best interest from the beginning. I look forward to finishing my checklist of recommendations in the near future. I have a child with a disability. Watching Jackie work with her today was the single most heartwarming sight I have witnessed in a long time. She was so patient and explained every single thing she was about to do so my daughter was not afraid.

Amazing staff! Been coming here for the past 3-4 years and they have been nothing but kind to me and my husband! I'm terrified of needles and drills and have very sensitive teeth, I let them know ahead of time and they go above and beyond to comfort me! Earphones to watch tv, a blanket, tissues, extra numbing if needed and they are always reassuring! Omg I can't forget about the receptionists and hygienists! So friendly and personal. I've been to many dental offices in the past but none of them compare to this one! Thank you East County Family Dentistry!
